My horses have always come to me with tack so I have never had to purchase any, but my new boy will be needing a new bridle.
Where is the best place to get a cob sized bridle on line? I have looked at ebay but worry about the quality!
Cobby is a piebald, so which colour would you suggest look best on him? I am thinking black as he is obviously black and white, but what do you think?

Id have a look on ebay tbh, you can get some ace deals on there, just stick to the good makes tho, dont buy one just cos its cheap as alot of imported rubbish leather gets sold on there and after having bits snap left right and centre, i wouldnt advise it

If youre looking to show the brown tack but any other competing you'll be fine in black with. Blacks black at the end of the day, not like brown which comes in all different shades and can be difficult to match up!!!

Equestrian clearance do abit of tack, derby house/robbies aswell but for the latter 2 you wont get the same discounts (unless you catch bridles in the DH midweek madness sale)

Black would look best. I'd always try eBay first for anything - I've had some fabulous Stubben and Lemetex bargains, and although you can get new things on eBay too, I'd rather get good quality second-hand leatherwork than cheap new stuff.

dont like robinsons own brand tack, the reins lost their coating first time i went xc in the rain, and the stirrup leathers were quite brittle. Got a nice shiny browband from them tho!
