Where to find a reasonably priced TB

Current horse cant compete so Im after a TB (budget of £1,000 ish). Height 16.2 plus, gelding preferred, must be good in traffic, to shoe, catch, box & clip and safe. Definitely dont want a nutter, had too many of these.

Any ideas?

Have you considered one of the rehoming charities? Darley have a scheme now in Newmarket and they're lovely people. I didn't end up getting one from them in the end but they were really great whilst I was looking. They try really hard to match you up with something which is right for you. I know there is something similar in Yorkshire and maybe one in Oxfordshire. Obviously you can't sell on again so no good if you're after a project but might be worth a go other wise?
 
There seems to be a lot of them on horsemart at the moment. Dont know if they are perfect behaviour wise but they are certainly in that price bracket.
 
Freeads! I bought both my TB ex racers through here, both circa £1000, one 16.1hh, the the other 17hh so it can be done, just have to wait and ring before anyone else!
