Am trying to find an Ideal ergonomic girth (52" - think they are called Affinity Girths) but can't find one anywhere on internet.

Are the wintec elastic ones with CAIR the same? Horse has backwards girth groove so want a girth with front curve on.

Any ideas?

Ooooh I didnt know ideal did girths?! Would be nice to get one to match my ideal saddle?!

Ive not seen anything on the internet or in shops etc.. but if it is the same as the wintec cair one I hope it isnt priced the same as I would need a dressage and a full length one.
Im currently using a wintec cushion soft girth which is super sqwidgy! Its the paralell looking one not the shaped one. My mares girth groove is really forward and tucked right behind her front legs and it is comfy for her. The wintecshaped one has harder edges.

I thought they were more designed for forward girth grooves. Derby house do one that I didnt get on with so they dont suit my boy.

Surrey equestrian do several when I was looking including a kentaur one which looks nice I had problems getting one short enough though.

I think the idea is to use it backwards!! So the curved bit in the middle is in front. Does that make sense?

It worked brilliantly yesterday at saddlers but they didn't have a 52", only a 48" and Ideal can't send one out till end of Jan. I like the Kentaur one. Thanks for that.

I had a one heck of a job finding one but ended up going for the Amerigo as they seemed the only maker to do the length I needed.

Spoke to a few people about the direction of the curve and general consensus seemed to be that as long as the horse was happy it didnt really matter....I have set a trend!
