Well today I actually saw someone blatently nicking my feed while I was in the feed room, and to top it off, when I went to use my garlic someone had clearly been using it and had watered it down, as it is normally a thick oil (feelgood30 one) and it was like water and barely smelled!

So Ive bloody had enough, if people arent movng your stuff they are nicking it, so I want to get my own metal storage bin to keep my feed in.

We dont have much grass at the mo and so Im hard feeding a lot still so I dont see why i should be supplementing other people's horses!

Does anyone know where I can pick up a cheapish feed bin, I know they are usually over £100 !

Tried adtrader but cant find anything.

Local DIY shops usually have them

You could try picking up an old chest freezer and simply screw a hasp lock on it. Its what my mate has done and it works brilliantly.... in fact she has more room in it than I do in my metal tin.

I got mine from my local builders merchants, but later discovered that Wilkos sell them!

ETS-They are just bins, not chest type things.

I use one of these, they are plastic but have used them for about the last 6 years and the mice etc have never got in. You can padlock it, but what i did was drill hole in lid and box, threaded chain through and padlocked it. They can fit about 4-5 bags of normal sized feed i.e coursemix bag size.
