Where to find proper newmarket/witney wool blankets?

As above? Any ideas, does anywhere still do them? Like the ones you used to put under the old jute rugs.

Maybe I'm just old-fashioned? Promise I'm not that old just yet!!

I loved the Witney blankets they always looked so warm. Brings back old memories. I used to have some but have no idea what happened to them. I remember being one of the first on the yard to have a 'Lavenham' synthetic rug on my horse.

I'd love a wool rug. They are brilliant for travelling and keep them so warm when there stood on the lorry all day

I buy the real witney wool rugs from my saddlery suppliers (trade), I use them on my bed as they are so warm!

Thanks, but my lot are all 6'3 and above! Have got a couple of these type ones and they are so smart and lovely, but was just trying to find the old witney blanket styles to use.
