Where to find Rhino/Rambo Wugs, or other turnouts worth considering?

I have a lightweight TB mare living out - hopefully all year. Obviously I am going to need some quite hardcore turnout rugs to see us through all seasons of the year!

My old horse had 3 Rhino turnouts (lightweight, medium high neck and heavyweight full neck) - these are still going strong 7 years on, despite his best attempts to ruin them - so I'd be keen on getting more of the same.

However, would be interested in any other views on good, tough, warm turnout rugs.

I have a rug drying room at current yard - so think that I will try and acquire 1 medium weight high-neck, 2 full-neck heavyweights, and an under-rug duvet type thing. Does this sound enough?

I'd really like to buy a medium weight now, since the weather is so undependable and she is slightly underweight... however can't find anywhere selling rhino wugs with them in stock at this time of year - does anyone know where I can find them? Would also be interested in second hand.. (size 6'3)

Have a look on ebay shops. Im just about to sell some warm rugs but they are 6 ft 6!!

Also try equestrian clearance and premier are good too. I like fal but they are expensive

Ring Hertford horse bits - google for the number. They have lots of rugs in cheaply as they buy clearance stock but their website is useless. I kitted B out in two weatherbeeta MW with neck covers and a lightweight made by someone else for under £100 from them!! They have lasted all the time I've had him, and I like weatherbeetas. He lives in his stable in them too, so it's not like he hasn't given them lots of wear and tear. So 3 winters they've survived now, constant use.

Cant you just google rhino wugs????? i swear by mine have got several but always end up keeping them as stand bys brilliant rugs..

I have found Premier Equine ones a really good. They do a lightweight that has 70gm fill, so ideal for nights this time of year. Also have a heavyweight rhino plus in a 6'3" for sale if you are interested - only used for a couple of months. PM me if you are.

the only ones i could recommend at being on the same level as rambo/rhino are premier equine

i have a huge great 450g one which my cob is in most of winter.. she does have a LOT of fat on her but is quite toned through winter and is always fully clipped and i neve rneed more than that and one under rug even on the coldest nights we've had!

also dumpy ran through the deer fencing in their field, she took her rug clean off BUT didnt even scratch it whereas as Missy also went trhough in her rug (cant remember what make but not a decent one!) and ripped it to shreds literallY!

def recommend them as they're a tad cheaper than the horseware ones.. and they are slightly elasticated around the top of the neck which keeps the warmth in
