WHERE TO FIND SHOW DATES IN WEST COUNTRY AREA?

I'm new to Devon and have a nice sports horse yearling (Regd AES) I'd like to take to some shows this year.

Haven't a clue where I can get news of forthcoming events and schedules from.

Can anyone tell me where these are advertised in this neck of the woods? I'm based in East Devon.

Thanks!

Found the site at www.equineaffairs.com

Looks a great site for ridden horses but not sure which membership would encompass classes for youngstock?

Any idea if this site includes inhand classes?
My baby is bred to event.

Thanks everyone. That's a good start. Someone else mentioned the WMN but I didn't know on which day to buy it!

Does anyone know of any events where a yearling sports horse filly could be shown. Not worried about winning (fat chance), just want to get her out and about this year.

Most of the agric shows seem to have classes for young hacks, hunters, mountain & moorland and arabs. Nothing really suitable for my girl, though.

I havent seen tons of sports horse, most of those are at breed shows etc

My chap is bred to event, and I did lightweight and small hunter classes with him, which was perfect. Locally you have Bath & West, Badminton, Berks Show, Royal Cornwall etc

I watched the B&W sportshorse last year and it was a large class in all entries. They certainly leanr about life very quickly there! The ring was pathetically small so I would ring before entering as IMO the danger of someone being hurt was huge. Check its not going to be like last year.

I will probably be there doing the WH on my horse and all on the same day.
