I have an old style gp saddle, that I believe to be an e. Barnes saddle (blue circle with eb by pommel) it's been on my tb with no problems bit needs re flocking, its about 20 Years old as it was a second hand saddle to my friend when we were kids.

Now I don't think there is anything wrong with the saddle but I have no use for it. Its gathering dust and tbh I don't want to try and and advertise and sell it just in case there is something wrong. It has been into a saddlers and he said that it would be ok to use on a horse if re flocked.

Should i just throw or is there anywhere to send a saddle like this?

I know of two charity tack sales down here in the south, that you could donate it to. Lyn Russell holds regular tack sales to raise money for the air ambulance, she would take it as a donation, or Charity Horse Shows in Westbourne. PM me if you want anymore info xx

i had a synthetic saddle to sell and no one was interested so i gave it to redwings (used to be ada cole) rather than leave it gathering dust. they were very happy to have itn so why not try a charity, seems a shame to throw it...
