I want to take my horses to the beach this week and have never been before, where is best to go on the east coast?

Holcombe is great - lots of shallow pools when the tide goes out to get them used to the water before braving the sea!

Do you mean Holkham? 
Its on the north Norfolk coast; I'm off there in a couple of weeks camping with the ponies 
Its a fantastic beach, miles to canter about. You can park on Lady Anne Drive, cost I think about £12 for the day, but loads of room and you can tie them up after and have a picnic

We usually go to Cleethorpes & have also been to Theddlethorpe a few years ago xx
