Hi all

Anyone know where I can go for a long weekend of intensive jump training?

I can jump, have done so up to 3ft 6, but it's always been a bit of a point and shoot approach on rock steady jumpers. So technically, I would like to learn more especially about jumping a course. At the moment I jump one of my horses over a couple of little 3 ft fences, and we do fine - but would love to understand more about it and try a variety of jumps. Thanks!!

Thanks Juno - have you been there? If so would they insist on say 75% of the weekend being flat work and the remainder jumping? Don't get me wrong, I totally understand the importance of the flat work in jumping but I do loads of that here with my RI, and it's the jumping experience on different horses, with different quirks and over different types of jumps that I can't develop here - if you get what I mean.

Yes, my OH kept her horse there for a week when we went on holiday to yorkshire (horse has to come aswell apparently). She had several lessons with the Bartles whilst there. I'm pretty sure they will tailor the instruction to what you want. Certainly worth a phone call.

What about Camp - We have Active rider camps up here but I/m sure there must be something closer to you !

It is excellent fun you get 2 lessons a day on your own horse
