Where to keep a horse in Dubai?

No specific knowledge or advice to give, but Dubai is a very strong 'horsey' nation, and they have excellent facilities (due to loads of wonga

I remember Duncan Inglis was heavily involved in the Dubai horse scene back in the 80's...culminating in one of their schools teams winnning the National Schools Showjumping title at Hickstead

We went to there in May and there are houses for sale that include shared equestrian facilites, such as stables etc.

As you will know the temp can reach 50 degrees in the high of summer and the horses are all stabled. We did see some property advertised for horse owners, so I dont think your search would be that difficult.

Hi,

My friend lived out there for for 8 years - she flew one of her horses out there and kept it at a very nice yard (I can't remember the name, but I'm seeing her tonight).

The horses live in AC barns and are in most of the time. I did see a few stables that had little sand pens attached but I don't think it's the norm. You have to be prepared to ride V early or later - friend used to ride at 6am, and I had a lesson that started a 7am and it was very hot towards the end.

The horses were all treated very well, with 1 groom to every 4 horses! She loved having her horse out there with her, and often went for a sneeky blast on the camel track!

As others have said, it's very horsey out there with lots of shows so you shouldn't have a problem, providing your horse doesn't mind the heat!
