Where to look for this saddle...

I feel like I've been searching for this saddle for ages, but can never come across one. I'm after a Black Country dressage saddle in a certain size with serge panels. I've stumbled across 2 I could live with, but they've been on trial forever so I assume they're sold, but I keep checking.

There are no reps near me, or even in my country. I would be open to new, but not sure if I can so that remotely.

What are second hand saddle sale sites that you know of? I'm in many (mostly UK) Facebook groups as well.

The last two saddles I sold were through Preloved. One I shipped to Sweden. I was nervous of being scammed but got a good vibe from the purchaser and was able to check some of their background through social media. All went smoothly and purchaser delighted. Perhaps worth trying although it is much riskier than meeting and seeing in person.

I've also been eyeing Preloved. I bought my Quantum (eBay) from the UK while in Germany and sold another saddle to the UK (eBay) while here. Fortunately, all went well. I accept the level of risk when buying second hand.

I think I actually saw something of interest in Sweden that I may consider. I don't think there is a single Black Country for sale in Germany.

Put up a wanted advert in one of the saddles for sale group?

look through the eBay adverts very carefully to see if what you want is listed with a wrong description

Have you looked on the Black Country website itself? They have second hand saddles there - or the contacts for them.

The problem is my criteria ?

My (picky) criteria is:

17.5
MW
Black
No Eden or Vinici
Serge panels...which I might have to give up on.
Good condition.
Found some Optimas that meet most of my criteria that I might just have to go with.

I would contact Black Country to see if they can help, the company I fit for do remote fittings, but also of course they'll know if anyone in Germany can fit one for you.

My fitter sells new black country saddles but he often has second hand ones, I can message him see if he has what you want.

I would also say it is worth contacting black country directly - they effectively do made to measure and I'm sure they or a UK based fitter could talk you through taking the measurements yourself with a video call or something, particularly as you already have a pretty clear idea of what you want.
