After giving up my full loan horse back in January, I am REALLY REALLY missing being around horses so am looking for a horse for a couple days a week or whatever but cannot seem to find any going at the moment

Why is it when your not looking there are loads and when you do they vanish?.LOL

So if anyone knows of a good steady type that is looking for a reliable honest gentle rider... please send them my way... :D :D I need my sanity back lol

Colchester area

Ive looked on usual sites
Preloved
ad trader
Nfed - even though thats more down south
horse hunter
horse share
you name it I've been on there...

Chocolate homemade brownie if you can help lol :D

Shame you wasn't closer to me. I would be more then happy to let you share Ruby. Have you tried putting wanted ads up in tack shops? I would try Ingatestone boards, they are usually full of adverts :)

How about a wanted ad on one of the facebook sites? I know someone who was looking for a sharer for her mare recently, but that's C'ford way :/

I need to pick up some haylage at ISC tomorrow so can always check if there are any share ads then and save you the trip if you haven't one planned?

I know someone in Colchester looking for a sharer for their traddy cob.
He might be a bit too quiet for you though? He's a cracking hack, great fun for a hoon across the stubble fields etc but he's not one for working in the school, jumping etc. He's just a really lovely cob, in his teens, bombproof and a complete joy to hack.
I'll keep my eyes open for something for you though. If you ever fancy a sit on a baby ex racer give me a shout, he's nice and quiet :p

oh gee thanks guys, yes real shame I am not closer Lauren... :(

I will put up an add in my local tack shops this weekend yes, there must be someone out there that wants someone sensible to help them out?...

Lady La la.. He sounds great I just want something to hack out on yeah that I can enjoy without having to worry too much and I am a sucker for a traddy cob.... just showed my hubby and his face was like... 'oh dear lol'...

If you could perhaps ask your friend, PM me if you wish?.
How big is the cob? would he/she be ok to carry my ass lol im 5'10 and little over 12st :( thats the down part but working on it :s
