Both my friend and I would like to go somewhere (UK) maybe for a few days to get some intensive training. We both have horses one of which is currently off work pending an operation for KS and the other just coming back into work after a broken leg!

We are both OK riders and would like to go somewhere where we can ride decent schoolmasters and concentrate on dressage/flatwork & work on the lunge to improve position and maybe a little jumping, especially for me to regain confidence jumping.

We are looking for somewhere where we can really improve and get some good instruction. This would be my 'holiday' for this year so don't want to waste my time and money if poss!

p.s. did post a little while ago about this but want to see if I can get some more suggestions??

I went to Talland while my horses were off work.

Had a bit of position bashing on their advanced schoolmasters

Yorkshire riding centre has good reputation, I went several years ago and found it really beneficial you can specify what you want to work on. I took my own horse but they had some really lovely schoolmasters, retired from high level Competition etc. Anywhere that trains/examines to bhs stage 3 or higher is a fairly safe bet as they must have established horses.
