I have a rising 5 yo registered ISH (good blood lines) who I am thinking of selling, Firstly I have only ever had to advertise once before and I did in H&H and Horsemart. I found Horsemart a waste of time and sold him through H & H.

This horse is different he is young and is a potential eventer. Fab XC going well in the flat and has started to show jump doing grids etc. Been out round firle S of E XC and schooled round all the jumps at local place up to 3ft 6. Extremely bold. Still young though so will need to the summer before ready to compete as had time off overt the winter

Does anyone have any other suggestions where to advertise, Im not in any hurry to sell him.Im looking for £5K,

Opinions and advice always appreciated

Hmm I'd still stick to H&H magazine. They have fab horses in there at all levels so I don't think yours would be out of place. It also gets the most attention from people as so many people get that mag and advertise/buy through it.

You could advertise locally, putting advertisements up in local tack shops or feed shops, or in the local paper? Might not get the right kind of people though if you are looking for a competition home.

I am thinking of selling and buying a new horse this summer and will go through H&H mag. A lot of them have people calling for a viewing of the horse the day the magazine goes out.

Good luck

When I was looking I looked at all the websites plus local paper and H&H ! I found Horsemart and Horsequest the easiest sites to search especially if there were more photos and a video link.

Thanks thought id try horsequest aswell

Hate selling horses thank you, I did buy him off H & H. Will wait till Feb March though before I do it, not sure if they are selling atm.

we had our boy on horsemart in summer, put him in H&H in dec and he sold to first viewer, an had lots more calls even at the time of year, should have just put him in summer.

have also found horsequest good
