I hope that sort of explains why I am looking for someone to school her as opposed to doing it myself or getting someone to come and ride her at the yard... It was all a bit cryptic wasn't it before
i did try to organise more but Jodie hasn't been doing as many clinics so they have gone on hold a bit, plus i had a lot of difficulties with people not showing up and its a long way for Jodie to come so didn't really think it was fair on her.
Hows her showjumping? I find professional showjump trainers are much more reasonably priced and generally do ride themselves. Also it would be something completely different for her but would still help her flat work no end. Also it wouldn't interfere with the great work you have been doing so far as long as you pick a good person. Herbie is going off to a great young rider to jump for 2 months over the winter and their rate is £120 a week including livery, this seems to be about par for showjumpers.
George Dewez is very very good and he personally rides them. Website is www.carregdressage.co.uk £180 per week all included. Can PM you if you need more info as have used him for two different horses with excellent results.
I hope that it will all amount to nothing though- big hugs your way. xxx
Thank you for all your suggestions and well wishes... I have a few suggestions now that I intend to contact once I have been to the hospital today for my consultation. Hopefully I will know a bit more after that, then again, probably not!
