This is my first time venturing onto this forum, so hi folks
Off to explore in a minute.
I'd ridden/owned/competed horses for 24 years but 5 years ago, my mare had to be put down and I've mostly been avoiding anything horse-related (apart from the odd ride) since. I didn't have the money to buy/keep another horse - and I had 2 children instead!!
Now I feel completely out of the loop
My little boy is 4 and reeeeally keen to ride, as is my 2 year old daughter. But I can't get my head around riding school costs... I've been heading back to my old stomping ground up north to ride friends horses, rather than forking out down here But if riding is something my children fancy doing, it's something I don't want to discourage
So here's my question (or rather, questions):
If I were to look for a share near me (Epsom), does anyone know the best place to start? All my knowledge of PC/RC's, livery yards etc, is all up north, not down here.
And how much do people pay for shares, or does it just vary according to place/number of days?
Thanks v much for any advice xx
