Apart from addington where else is there to bsja over this winter,l live in oxfordshire,and if anyone suggests blewbury l will shoot them!!!

Summerhouse, Weston Lawns, Solihull - thats about our lot and none of them are that close
Mind you are in Wantage, so Weston Lawns and Solihull are a bit of a treck! West Wilts is pretty easy along the M4 for you - whats your travel time limit?

Unfortunately Weston Lawns don't do BSJA thro the winter (wish they did!!), I would say Addington and Solihull are probably your best bet?
Don't they do BSJA @ Blewbury.....hee hee!!

West Wilts is OK - I find it quite dark but it does the job. I only go in the week and it is fine.
Just thought of another - Hartpury
THing is with Blewbury is that it is losing popularity, so it is easier to get placed/qualify there now

TBH I am about 25-30 mins from you and we don't have much ariund us. what about the malthouse? no idea what it is like TBH

Blewbury is Wantage way
Malthouse is Steventon (Abingdon way).

West Wilts doesn't get that busy. maybe 30 in BN and Disco and then less in the later classes. It's very hard to win any money there as there aren't enough entries in the classes.

Patchetts isn't as bad, depends what classes you want to jump. It's pretty easy to get to.

Or where I do - 20mins from Summerhouse, 40 from Hand, about an hour to West Wilts, 40 to Hartpury, it's great!
I avoid Summerhouse in the winter as I don't like their indoor and would rather travel a bit further to Hand.

I think Weston Lawns finish BSJA at the end of Sept or Oct and start again in March (ish). They do lots of unaffiliated stuff through the winter, dressage, sj and eventer trial things. Not sure if Weston Lawns BSJA'ers are seen as lightweights and can't cope with competing outdoors
or whether its the lack of daylight hours and weather in the winter being unreliable that stops them running the shows, quite disappointing though
!! (Not meaning to upset the BSJA'ers by that comment - I'm a member and wouldn't mind outdoor BSJA in winter!!!
