Where will you're first BE run be??

Possibly Breckenborough followed by Eden Valley. Not sure whether to give him a run at 90 or straight in at 100 - will probably depend on how much SJ we have done over the winter!
 
Hopefully Breckenborough then Eden Valley. Still have to have a good look at the whole season and decide what I'm doing. Would like to aim for a novice at the end of the season and had kind of thought of Richmond as a good first time one but it's the same weekend as Blair! And I can't miss out on my weekend away there - it's the only holiday I get these days. So anyone have suggestions for a first time novice later on in the year, in the North of England/South of Scotland?
 
IF I decide to event next year (and it is a big if :( ) I will probably aim for Oasby BE90. We will see ;) I will definitely do Shelford even if I'm not eventing properly, cos it is so close!!! Am aiming to do some JAS, as I think you can use a day ticket for JAS and an event?!
 
soupdragon - apart from the double of corners I didn't think Skipton Novice looked much different to the 100 iirc but I wasn't walking the Novice with the aim of riding it so it probably looked smaller than it would have done! But you could have good look at the course at the 1st event :).
 
It really depends on the weather, last year they were still so unfit in March because of the snow but if all goes to plan we will start with the unaf at Aston le Walls in March followed by Swalcliffe both at BE90 then the BE100 unaf at Aston in April and then we will see! If we get snow in Feb then it will probably be Milton Keynes I in late April for the BE90 and then see from there.
 
I am a boring old fart and not even considering BE until well after Christmas. Having said that I'm usually at Oasby..... ;)

Oh that sounds like a good suggestion jumptoit
Eventing mag said about it "Fairly simple tracks. There isn't anything particularly big or testing" "This is definitely a good place to step up a level"
There were 71% clear at Novice according to their stats.

Sounds like a plan soupdragon :D
 
I've never been before so if it all comes together over winter this will be my first season. Hoping to do Stafford BE90 :D
 
my plan is to do the 90 at Oasby and then Breckenbrough...but all depends upon the weather and snow whether he'll be fit enough for it... have a vague plan to step up to PN at some point but would like to get qualified for a RF before i do that...
 
The nearest BE80 to me which is probably Brooksby, in the vain hope I might actually have a horse that will do it by then.

Hopefully I will have sold Trig by then - or otherwised got the job in ireland I want!
 
Depending on how much money I have, then I will take both to Moreton BE100, then both to Aldon BE100 as well. Hopefully taking the ginger pony in his first ever novice half way through the season as well. Depending how his BE100's go. So excited! I just want to start again!

Thanks jumptoit! Completely forgot about Skipton - only ever did the intro years ago on my old horse so no idea what the novice looks like. Definetely a trek over for the first one.
 
Would love to start with Moreton but it depends if I can get her fit enough. If not, then probably wait for Howick in April
