Where will you're first BE run be??

Either Isleham or Oasby BE100 (maybe Novice, depending on how our SJ is getting on) if Ballet stays sound and right over the winter.

And some unaff BE90 equivilants, and then hopefully either Swalcliffe or Eland Lodge BE90 with the 5 y/o depending upon how she progresses over the Winter.

Wilby will hopefully hopefully hopefully be doing BE90 at Oasby. Would do a BE80 instead but there aren't any within reasonable distance till September, by which point he needs to be gone
First event WILL be EMDG though, even if I have to steal a horse to do it on...

Munstead intro.... just so we can see how the start of our season plans out. Then will tackle the PN's again as I would really like to get established at that level next year. Should have been this year if it wasn't for me breaking my arm and my horse taking advantage of the situation! ;) :o

Depends on weather and horse fitness etc. Also if I am sound and fit enough to ride. xc schooling will start in feb, but my earliest "all clear" to ride is Mid Jan so will depend on my ability to get all fit. I dont tend to rush for early events as weather is normaly so foul!!

I am only planning on running two early on and I imagine both will start be100 but will depend on how they feel etc but maybe Tweseldown in March as local event.

Yeah I hope to go xc schooling at somerford before Stafford. I find I get the best out of it when I go alone rather than to a clinic as my horses get a bit wound up with all the stop starting. Gonna try and do some BSJA this winter and keep my eye in. I can't wait...:):)

Ooh how exciting! Where are you all finding info on the unaffils? By sound of things may well aim for Aston unaffil pre-intro for them both and may take J to swalcliffe as well. Depending how this BRC BE80 thing is going to work I will decide whether or not to actually affiliate or just run on tickets next year as J will do 80s mainly to avoid the travel. I may or may not event roo properly, if I do might do a half season membership if he feels ready. A dream would be to run him at PN by end of the season but that's a bit pie-in-the-sky ATM! Will start by doing a couple of 80s I think!

Juno, didn't think you were riding at all anymore?! :p
If you've ever seen the film Racing Stripes then a quote from the pilican fits perfectly. "Just when you think you're out they pull you back in"

I have an ID to train for SJ who's owner competes dressage but would also like him to be out showjumping. She watched me ride the ID I've been training for the last 3 yaers and is happy so that will go ahead. I also have another person who has 2 possibly 3 that she wants competing which I will be meeting this weekend.
If I could completely walk away from horses I could stay away but having horses in the family and friends who keep asking me to help means thats not possible so WTH, in for a penny so to speak ;)

if all ok over winter then T/down BE90 followed straight away by Swalcliffe BE90 as got to work the wkend of Munstead :( Then it should be Larkhill BE90 a few wks later.

Tweseldown 90, then maybe facing my demons at Munstead for the 90 (had a big fall in the warm up a few years ago and completely lost my confidence) but it looked like a lovely course when I walked it!
