have been looking around but most adverts say hopelessly outgrown!! - or needs smaller rider!!

What about the lanky amongst us that dont weight more than 8 stone?

Any ideas where to advertise for a mate that wants an allrounder 14.2 - 15hh??

Most people say outgrown as they assume that after a certain age everyone wants to ride horses.
Ponies are great and there are a lot of good natives out there at the height you are looking for.
Look on horsequest under natives

There's a fjord on horsemart in surrey that looks nice (my mum has one and they are lovely all rounders)

It's a real shame you don't want a lovely 13.2 alrounder.

She has mainly been ridden by adults (up to 12 stone) and would love an adult home. Particularly as she has the paces of a large horse!

Sorry got a bit confused. i def think it's getting more popular

If you wanted a 12.2 Exmoor pony I know a fab ones that doesn't really like being ridden by children but with an adult trots round in a little outline. He's even doing the leg yield now (bless) - and he jumps about 2'6.... Considering he's only been backed for about a year, he is a little natural as the ridden thing. Cute cute cute

Actually, i've changed my mind, he is here for us to sell but the longer he stays here, the more I get to ride him every day so I hope no one wants him for a while! I love ponies.

You could probably get away with a chunkier 13.2 thats able to take up your leg, I'm about the same height as you and I can still get away with the 13.2 welsh bs and cs at my yard easily

Horsehunter.co.uk has quite a few natives/small cobs at the mo too.

Have you tried your local Adtrader/freeads? Just what I am looking for too, I am only 5'1" and prefer ponies anyhow, trouble is we are looking to loan and at this time of year its really hard to find one!!!!!!
Good luck in your search.....I hope you find the perfect pony :0)

Have a look NOW! on the haflingers GB website, Ive got one and they are absolutely ideal, not too tank like, take up the leg as nice and cobby, look gorgeous and very good doers.

Everyone should have an orange pony!

Horsemart has a wanted section. I would say you just need to monitor the adverts a lot as my 14.2hh went within days of being advertised - it seems that full up 14.2hh ponies (mine is a native) that aren't skinny things are like gold dust!

when i started riding again i thought i wanted a 16"2 tb !!!!now the proud owner of a 14"1 fell built like a tank ( the width takes up your legs: i've a 32 " inside leg!) who jumps like stink, does dressage to die for and would probably scare the living daylights out of any kid daft enough to get on him! he's also completely bomb-proof having been in a local riding school for a few years previously. YOU CAN'T BEAT A NATIVE!!!

I much prefer riding ponios - so much fun, easy to keep and I can groom their backs without the need for a stool!

I ride my daughter's previous pony, a 13.2hh New Forest, her present pony, a full up 14.2hh NF X, and I recently bought myself a 14.3hh cobX - such a shame I have got to sell him, as he goes vertical when he doesnt want to do something!!!!!!!

My search continues....

Good luck.
