Waiting for info from my vets in pattingham, but i am possibly going to send my little lad for an MRUI - he is still 1/10 lame in front on his offside fore - soft tissue damage to the hoof he has been x-rayed, nerve blocked, correctively shod and he had 6 weeks box rest, 4 weeks paddock rest and then was beaten up in his field so i can only imagine he undid loads and loads of the rest!

Now have moved to a new yard and i can basically have anything i want - box rest, paddock rest, out 24/7 on his own - with a friend etc - you name it i can have it ! so would you go back to box rest, then paddock rest, then out in a big field.
Or
24/7 turn out till the weather changes with one other sensible calm horse
or out for 3 to 4 hours a day with my other horse and in stable for 20 hours (this is my preffered option as he is a looney tune when on proper box rest)
or
box rest for 4 or 5 months
or /MRI scan and then take a view
horse not insured

I'd call Pool TBH, they specialise in lameness and would certainly be able to point you in the right direction - PM me if you need any info..
