Where would be the best place to look for a loan pony for someone in Wiltshire? (apart from local tack shops) or would a wanted add be a good idea?
Its not for me im just trying to help someone out :)

I live in Wiltshire! :) I got my horse on loan because I was already on the same yard as him but was outgrowing the pony I had on loan. I would suggest looking in the tackshops as you've already mentioned (Scats, Equishop etc. usually have quite a few). You could contact the local riding club to see if they know of any horses going on loan. This is their website: http://www.southwiltsridingclub.org.uk maybe try some local pony clubs too as lots of horses for loan go by word of mouth, this is the one I'm in: http://branches.pcuk.org/wilton Other than that look on the typical websites such as horsemart, horsequest, horseandhound but I think your best bet of getting a nice horse is by word of mouth. Good luck! :)

14.2hh - 15hh ish (she is 5ft 6) if smaller then chunky, she has been riding for just over a year, did her first walk and trot dressage test a couple of months after starting riding and is jumping low cross poles.
Peferably something that can move yards. :)

Preloved and horsehunter are quite good for local one stoo :)

Shall keep an ear out! The pony clubs are generally really helpful and didn't mind when I was looking for a loan home for my mare emailing them with her details to ask on rally days and forward anyone on they thought might suit her etc....so may work the other way too if they have someone outgrowing their pony and looking to loan it etc? Ridgeway, Avon vale, Beaufort, etc :) Also west wilts, south wilts, berkley and district riding club, mendips riding club, etc.
Check their websites too on their classified sections.
