Where's good to go SJ - East Anglia/Herts

As title really. For young horse so don't want to go where there are 50 to a class with people zooming around over the practice fence.

Brook Farm in Essex is nice. They have a decent warm-up arena. There is also Norton Heath however their indoor warm up is pretty awful. x

I second the above, Harolds park farm is another option, both indoor and outdoor schools.

Our winter league - lovely warmup, we are very patient, and let competitors school around the remaining jumps even if they get eliminated - nice atmosphere, fab prizes - might be a bit too far for you though...

zoeshiloh - I don't mind travelling a bit further if it's going to give him a good experience without being stressed out by tons of other horses going round every which way.

Jays at Bury St Edmunds - big surface outside arena, I've heard somewhere in Finchingfield have a big surfaced outside arena and run friendly competitions throughout the year. Lordsbridge - small cramped warm-up but nice courses and arena. Manor Farm, Huntingdon SJ and clinics. Plus all the ones above.

what about joining a riding club. Ours does sj clinics in smallish groups. Ideal for youngsters.

Try Forest Edge at Drymere, we took a green horse there and they were kind enough to allow him to continue after he was eliminated.....next visit, one cool calm horse that jumped clear

Yes finchingfield equestrian, lovely friendly place went there for first time recently. They hold clear round jumping and will happily lower/raise jumps as and when you want them to. Lots of lovely young horses taken just to get them used to it but also kiddies on little ponies having a good old crack at it!
