Where's the bad winter that was predicted?

Its beautiful and sunny here - a bit chilly but still about 7 or 8 degrees:eek::rolleyes:

We hardly have any mud as we have hardly had any rain - last year we had less than HALF the annual rainfall:mad: so the ground is still hard:rolleyes: the grass has hardly grown all year so the horses are having to have hay in the fields - my two are going through nearly a bale a day at the moment - which is just a bit less then last year in knee deep snow and temps of -15!:rolleyes:

So who ever has all the rain please will you send some this way:mad: and stop hogging it:mad::mad:

You can have mine;) -11C, 75km winds, snow, sleet, blah...tomorrow we'll have rain again.

Swinging from muddy swamp to frozen wasteland daily here. Whooppee, in 6 months time it'll be dry and dusty, something to look forwards to:D

I'm loving it! My winter field is a bog, but it always this time of the year!

Hope it stays like this! :)

Local hay suppliers moaning as they havenet sold much hay as its been so mild here and grass been growing. Perhaps that means itll be cheaper next summer !

We've had a fair bit of heavy rain, weeks of it in fact and high winds here, with even more to come as husband has just read the weather for next five days and its not looking good.
Heavy rain, sleet, high winds and eventually snow.
Id say we've had pretty bad weather, even if its not always been snow.

Please please please freeze over!! All our fields are swimming, the horses only have to look at it for it to churn. It seems to have rained constantly for weeks now....I'm in North Wales
And the flies...surely the one pay off we get for having to muck out, wade through mud to fetch in, get freezing cold hands generally deal with all that winter brings is that at least there are no flies......hhhhrrrumph :(
And I quite like snow :D

I have new flowers opening on my balcony in bloody Berlin! There hasn't been a single frost here - last few years we were knee-deep in snow. And a friend in Gloucestershire just reported blossom on one of his trees.

Would rather have a bit of the draught that the east are having... Blowing some rainclouds over your way!

We have daffodills coming out down here in Guernsey!

It's been very mild, I think the coldest day we've had so far is around 7/8 degrees, but mainly between 10/12 degrees.

Plenty of rain though and high winds, we're due a bit of a storm tonight and tomorrow.

This morning felt like it could have been spring though, glorious sunshine, birds singing and of course the daffodills!

Here in S Wales we've had nothing but endless heavy rain for months. Today there was a tiny sprinkle of snow on the mountain and we had a heavy hailstorm but nothing more. Frogs in my garden pond have been singing love songs to lady frogs since Christmas! Fingers crossed for NO SNOW and NO FROZEN PIPES!!!!!! With 4 neds it's a killer to have to bring enough water for them all.
