if your ad says 'over 18's only' then why don't you try some under 18's ? We're honestly not that bad 
have had share horses for over 2 years now and am only 15 but being 5ft11 i was looking for bigger horses not 14.2's and it was soooo hard for me! i ended up with a 16.2hh psycho that ran into walls, fences, head first and would bronk around the school. even in stable it'd randomly start head butting the wall. yes we had it all checked and he was absolutely fine... physically i mean.
give under 18's a chance maybe?
a good place is : pet shops, tack shops, preloved, internet in general
