It's really difficult to tell without knowing more about the two horses. It's easy to make a poor horse sound good in an advert so if you like the look of both go and see them. There are still a lot of questions to be answered on the second one as well.

Hello!

This is my first post so I thought I'd try an easy one! I think they both look nice, I like the greys trot, looks flashy! the second one sounds better so who knows! I have never bought a horse before so I wouldn't know what to look for/ what to avoid, but my friends tell me the best thing is to take a look. I reckon you know when you know!

I prefer the look and write up of the second one but you really need to speak to the person selling to really get a feel of what they could be like.

Definitely plenty of questions!

The second one sounds very cheap given they describe it as being so well behaved in all different situations, confidence giver etc??

I prefer the second - without being rude the first one looks a bit like the equine equivalent of a cut and shut (where you put two halves of two different cars together!) but could be a lovely safe person

The second horse is definately more visually pleasing but looks aren't everything! Go and try them both out thoroughly, it's the only way you'll find out exactly what they're like!

I agree with Henry1997 - I bought a horse last autumn and I went to see all the beautiful ones only to find that the photos had been taken from a clever angle to hide all sorts of horrible things like a shortened hind leg and things. Photos tell you very little. It is best to talk to the owners and then go and see for yourself.

As a first glance i'd be more keen on horse No1 but I'd want proof that she was not older!

The secound one the first one does look long not my cup of t but you need to go see them both as its hard to go by just the photo xx
