My mare is fairly tidy in her stable in that she doesn't mix her poos in with her bed, but she is also quite wet and tends to wee in her banks. She is currently kept on shavings but I'm wondering whether I would be better off trying something else as she gets through quite a bit and they aren't getting any cheaper! Straw is a complete no-no as she will stuff herself on it and her lungs aren't the clearest.

I was doing a quick google search and wondered if anyone used this stuff and what they thought? Prices sound reasonable and include delivery which is a bonus.

Any other suggestions welcome.

I like my elephant grass (fennington fibres) I had never deep littered before but its actually working really well! I only have a 1/2 bed I do go through two bags a week but thats because i like it smelling fresh and staying dry and pretty! but its like 5.50 a bag so works out about the same as buying a more expensive hemp bedding...although I do like Aubiose ~ makes lovely banks!

Aubiose or hemcore. My mare used to eat an entire straw bed and widdled her way through 3 bales of shavings every week (a full barrow of wet thrown out every day) but on hemp she only uses an absolute maximum of 1 bale a week (usually just half a bale), and apart from poo-picking I only muck out on Sunday mornings (one barrow). It is much easier to lug about than shavings, minimizes the muck heap, makes a lovely thick bed and great banks. Don't be tempted to muck out every day though, it is meant to be used on at least a semi-deep litter basis and needs to settle at the base. Throwing it up every day just doesn't work.

Definitely flax!!!! We have about 30 horses on Equisorb...........fab stuff

IMHO you can't get better than Megazorb - I love the stuff -so easy to muck out - you leave the wet in to form a firm base and it's lovely and dry on top - I only used one sack a week even when my mare was on box rest!
