Which Bedding???

There's lots of bedding materials on the market which one is the best to go for with regards to cost and ease of mucking out?

I currently use Hunter Shavings.

Rubber Matting with fairly thin layer of megazorb(not too wet horse) or Easibed (wet horse).

Depends on the horse and personal preference I think.

Personally I love Bedmax shavings and hate Easibed, Paper, Cardboard, Aubiose

Other people love the ones I hate and hate the one I love

I had to leave a yard for bedding my horse like this, I was cruel apparently

I always used shavings and if on a concrete base then a layer of sawdust underneath. I like the look of a bedmax bed, but got annoyed as the flakes didn't fall through the fork as they were so big (maybe I'm just too cheap and should forget about the 5 extra flakes lost!)

I pick up the poo with rubber gloves and use a trug bucket, much quicker than a fork and don't waste the shavings

I first started out on Easibed and hated it, I quickly progressed to shavings. Aubiose looks nice in the pictures with the foal lying on it but I not had to muck it out.....
