Which bedding

Please help me , my horse has reaction to wood chips on his legs, can't use straw as he will eat himself silly , I was thinking about paper or cardboard has anyone used this ! Advice please thanks x x x

Hi. Tried paper once - you get a soggy solid wet heavy mess in the morning to muck out.
I use easibed - buit i got a feeling that "wood based" - but its great to use, easy to muck out, excellent absorbancy, and not smelly to deal with and the horses lie down on it too.

Belvoir bedding seems good although I do know a horse who had a reaction to it but didnt on bedsoft
