which bit for mr monty?

new boy monty is still ridden in the bit he was trained in which is has lots of rollers on it......gives me no control and no brakes....now that he is going to have to learn to love schooling i need something that i can steer with.....what you guys think....full cheek snaffle??

I ride one of mine in a Sprenger full cheek and I really rate it. I team it with a flash noseband. I bought my Sprenger online but now I've noticed quite a few stockists carry trial Sprenger bits.

The best thing is to try out a few different bits from a bit bank to find the one that both you and the horse like best.

I would definitely try the full cheek snaffle. When I started jumping my mare she was no brakes, no steering and the full cheek worked wonders and its not too harsh! Hope you find one that works for your guy
