which bit!!! help

i am returning to the show ring after several years off,i am planning on doing in hand and ridden classes with my h/w cob i use a pelham for ridden but in the back of my mind something is telling me snaffle for in hand? can someone put me right i did ring the show secretary and she said whatever he is comfortable in,as it is a qualifer class i dont want to make a stupid mistake

I've shown in hand in a pelham before when doing the ridden class afterwards, I've found that sometimes there isn't enough time between classes for too much faffing changing bridles, so I think your pelham will be fine.
