Which bit is allowed for BD Walk & Trot tests?

What bits are permitted for BD Walk & Trot tests? I have just seen a photo in which the horse has a pelham in?! Is this right?

Wouldn't have thought so - was it at a BD show? Some unaffs do classes where 'any normal riding bit' is permitted.

would have thought BD was standard bitting rules for under WT Prelim and Novice. Not a BD member at the moment so don't have current rule book

The rules are the same as any other test up to the level when double bridles and spurs are required. Therefore, it should be ridden in a snaffle bridle and with one of the permitted snaffle bits.
