which bit to use for hunting?

hi, i have a 14.2 cob cross, she useually isnt stong but if she gets excited she can get strong for a short time! i am hoping to take her hunting and was wondering if any1 has any advice of which bit would be good for her, i dont want anything too harsh but do want control!!!!! any ideas?

What bit is she in now?
I would practice with a bit a home quite a bit first, maybe school and jump in it a couple of times, because so horses hate the action of some bits. Its all a bit trail and error. I would be tempted to go with something like a pelham and use two reins if you are happy with that, or again practice a lot with 2 reins! Then if she is going to be good you can ride mainly off the snaffle, and only use the curb when needed. I often find horses go better in a proper double bridle with 2 bits than a pelham.
