Hi,
I am starting to take my pony on hacks again as he had a break from hacking as we moved him to a different yard and we focused on schooling and jumping and now we would like to start hacking him as there are alot of great hacks in the area but they all have field work.
2 weeks ago i took him in a field and i asked him to walk and he galloped flat out bucking with is head between his legs ! I know that it is all from excitement and there is nothing wrong with him at all.
He is currently ridden in a Neue Schule Team up bit and he is great in the school with it but i would not have enough control while hacking or in a field.
He also doesnt have much room in his mouth as he is fleshy and has a big toung
What bit would you suggest?
