Which bit?

Hi advice appreciated. My daughter has a 12.2 Section A cross and has just started jumping at pony club and local small competitions. She rides him in a snaffle and is doing really well but he is a bit strong and she just needs a bit more control. He is a lovely pony, really keen and enjoys jumping and I would hate to overbit him and dampen his enthusiasm, but she doe needs some more brakes and steering while she is just starting out. I have a kimberwick and someone has also offered me the use of a 3 ring snaffle gag - what would you try? Thanks x

I would try the kimblewick with a leather or elastic curb, if that doesn't help then a wilkie would be my next choice rather than the 3 ring, they are not a bit I really like and I don't think they are good for young children as they cannot use two reins easily and having roundings or just using one rein mean the leverage is always in use.
