I have searched high and low for someone to come and clip my Yeti but nobody can fit me in before December !!I was just going to buy a pair but I'm supposed to be saving up So I have hired a pair and I am going to risk it myself. I have used clippers before but only for trimming or to have a go while someone else is clipping and I've seen it done many times too and although I only want to tackle an Irish clip I figure if it goes a bit pear shaped I can always take it all off !

So the folk at the tack shop have asked which blades I want do I say
A) Course as she is a very long haired fluffy TBx Connie or
B) Fine as I want as good a finish as possible in my amature and niave hands and don't plan on doing her whole body if I can help in or
C) Whatevers sharpest !

Answers on a post card please !

I hate to throw a spanner in the works but what about medium blades? I almost always use the A2 blades for my Liveryman clippers. I do have the course and fine blades too, but rarely use them except for occasional tidying and trimming.

I always use Medium blades as well. I find the fine ones cut too short and can look untidy.

Don't say that I just ordered the fine ones lol !!

Medium isn't an option unfortunately - she said the fine ones got back from sharpening on Monday and she did a bib clip on a section D this morning !

If is goes well I'll post some pictures if not then she'll be in full neck rug even when riden until I can sort it out lol !
