Which Body Protector?

Another for the kan!! I wear mine all the time hacking etc, worn my airowear out and after seeing the hammer test on the kan and being properly fitted by Wendy at belton and chatsworth.... I finally purchased at burghley!

Tested a bit quicker than I hoped as had a half rotation fall xc yesterday and can honestly say I didn't feel a thing, fab product!

Don't just pick one up as it does feel heavy, once on, it's lighter than my airowear, due to weight distribution, if it's not, it's not fitted properly!

I'm asthamtic too and I can't believe how much better my breathing feels! Chuffed!

Thank you for all your replies. Just spoke to Wendy from Kanteq who was most helpful hoping to order a protector soon. She offered so many sizes.

Thanks K :) Yeah I will not write it off, it just left a bad feeling thats all! I'm not in a position to buy at the moment anyway now, but will be looking for next season.. :) ;)

I went round Badminton trying on various body protectors - I can honestly say I found the racesafe bulky and uncomfortable. It cut in around my shoulders and wasn't as flexible as I had hoped.

I bought a KAN (fitted by Wendy at 6pm on the saturday and she was still chipper!). This was the best in terms on the feel on, and also being asthmatic was one of the few I could breathe in.

My second choice was the much cheaper outlyne, this was more flexible and comfy than most body protectors, but the KAN still had the edge for me on breathability!

i love my racesafe - i'm tiny build though (top half - alas bottom half leaves a lot to be desired ) and found the childs XL to be the best fitting one for me - it was the only one short enough and narrow enough for me - the rest i couldn't move my arms forward in.... i did try loads one but found that the best - my old mark todd one was ok but not very flexible and it kept hitting back of my saddle as i'm also short
