Im thinking of putting my horse on a calmer. Ive just started properly working with him and schooling but to do this we need concentration. he needs a lot of topline built up so i need him to be nice and calm on the lunge and to be ridden. Even just to calm him slightly as at the moment he looks at everything, is fizzy and generally always excited. He is learning a lot ut just needs something to take the edge off. He is an ottb and hasnt been trained very well so back to basics!my instructor suggested a calmer. Anyways sorry for the babble heres some calmers that ive heard about and seem to be popular:
Feedmark steady up advance
NAF Magic
Relaxme
Equine answers calmer
Has anybody used any of the above calmers? And if so what was the effect on your horse? Thanks in advance

NAF magic did nothing for my gelding
Nupafeed MAH is brilliant as is Equifeast Cool Calm and Collected - it's absolutely excellent worked extremely well on my gelding

I used steady up years ago, it was useless for my mare!

I bought super calm instants for my pony a couple of weeks ago and they were also useless but was told that they were supposed to be really good!
