carmex! fab stuff. I'm a brass player and I know a lot of people use it - it contains a natural aspirin (salycilic acid) which is great for reducing the soreness.

it smells great, lasts for ages when you put it on, and does a really good job of soothing sore lips and stopping chapping.

after recommendations from here last year, I have Burtons beewax lipbalm (think thats the one!) for winter use :)

For severly chapped lips, blistex intensive mosturiser :)

carmex! I love the tingly feeling. and also the bog standard black chapstick, I find the smell really comforting and it reminds me of home. also have these mini cupcake lip balms as well which were a birthday present and smell and taste YUMMY! not entirely sure how effective they are however...

Original Chapstick (think it's medicated) - plaster it on at the beginning of a day's hunting & mky lips still feel protected at the end of the day, brilliant stuff.

I use the vaseline rose one, altho its not making my lips very soft. It doesnt help that I keep biting my lips. So I may change to another brand. I quite like the tinted ones.
