Which class? Showing advice needed please

I'm aiming to get my boy to a few local low key shows before the end of the summer with a view to doing workers plus possibly ridden hunter type class. Not done much showing before so would like advice on what you think is the best class for him to go in.

Picture below isn't the best I know, what taken spring time and I know he's not stood square but you get the general idea of his type/build.

You could try Riding Club Horse, these have some jumping in, or go straight into Novice WH if he has a good jump, if it's only local start there and see how you get on?

id say workin hunter (pony depending on height)
Riding club horse also but not all shows do this class..
