Last year I took my mare out in hand showing as a 3yr old and we did the youngstock classes, she didn't do too bad we got two 3rd's and one 2nd and she was very well behaved.
This year as a 4yr old she can now do the ridden classes once she is ready for them but have no clue which one's she is suitable for and which one's she fit in to!
So my question is, which classes do you think she could do? either in hand or ridden, she hasn't long been backed, well about 6 months ago so won't be ready until middle of the season and towards the end anyway, but would like something to aim for!
She is 14.3 and still got a bit of growing left, should make roughly 15/15.1!
Se is tb x Connemara.

You could try Show Hunter Pony or Intermediate Show Riding Type (SRT) - both classes have rider age limits and horse height limits with the limit for the hunter ponies being 15hh I think

or maybe Riding Horse classes but she'd possibly be one of the smallest in the class

Would she be marked down for being one of the smallest or would she just look a bit odd?
I'm 19 so ill have a read up about the rider age limit, thanks!

This may be a strange comment but I knew this mare from the day she was born and she's looking fab! Well done with her I hope she brings you lots of ribbons this year! :) x
