Going to probably purchase some Masterclip Royales. They're only to clip one horse a full clip, so don't need anything special and they're a good price.

Fine is 1.5mm, or 2.5mm for medium? Need to decide between the 2 :)

Thanks!

I have the royales they are not really designed for doing a full clip on a big horses unless your horse has a very fine coat.

I do a chaser clip on my pony using them and I have the 2.4m and they are not a very close clip but better if you horse has a thicker coat the fine ones I think are only suitable for doing a small clip on a horse or pony with a fine coat.

Its only to clip a pony, and her coats not very think. I only have around £100 to spend on a set, and they seemed to have good reviews with the fine wide or medium wide blades.

A :)

If it for a pony with a fine coat they should be good. I just presumed as you mentioned horse that you had a horse rather than pony.

I clip my pony with them and he has thick coat but I only do a chaser it would take forever to do a full clip with them!

Sorry yes, I just realised a wrote for a horse when I fact she's a pony, well 14h :) did you use the wide blades or normal ones? A friend of mine said they clip hers quickly on the wide blade. Thanks for your help!
