Which does everyone recommend the best thought its best to get reviews first before buying as very expensive!

Linseed oil or Equi-Jewel for older & bigger hprses for weight gain, did you use it in winter time? & how long until you started seeing results?

TIA

I tend to us Micronized Linseed in the summer and then up to Equi-jewel in the winter when he needs more. Both keep him looking incredibly shiny, the Equi-jewel just seems to be more calorific

Bear in mind that more than half of the poster's posts recommend this stuff so they MAY not be wholly impartial

I'm not new to the forums, just forgot my login after an extended break, so changed it. I have to say that I try to stay out of training conversations as I'm not up for the levels of BS that go on. (hence reason for extended break) ;-) I do read them with popcorn in hand when I'm up for a laugh.

I used equi jewel for weight gain and muscle build up and it worked really well. If I were to use linseed I'd go for micronized linseed but if you're feeling turmeric you need oil too, so linseed oil should work well. Have to say, I noticed more improvement with the equi jewel than with micro linseed but then again I didn't stick with the linseed for that long (got through a bag so probably a month's worth). I noticed improvement after a few weeks with equi jewel and stuck with that over the winter.
