Well I have a yard with a good school and crap hacking, I do miss good hacking but the fact it's just me, my sis (GinaGem) and my Mum on the yard makes up for it.

If it was a choice then I would choose the hacking but I've just moved somewhere where the hacking isn't quite as good to have somewhere with a school I don't have to pay to use. Hacking is great but there's alot to be said for being able to ride when its dark

ye i agree crap hacking ... bcos if you get a horsey tht likes to bomb then i skwl probs would be safer ... but its what u prefer ...hacking or... skwling ?

One with a good school as my horse will not hack on his own (well he will at a real push) and he gets far too excited in large groups so we dont hack very often. We do do a lot of schooling though.

School is not the best but its good (ish)

Definitely prefer a good school. Not a big hacking fan, tend to go out for the pony's benifit rather than mine as I find it intollerably dull
