Prelim 4, 15 or 18?
Buddy's first time out, I was looking for the one with the least canter work but all seem to be about the same, so which one? X

I like P18 - always rides well for my mare and got some of my best Prelim marks with that one. Can you try ride through all of them at home and see which flows best for you? Good luck with the competition :)

Thank you, I was leaning towards 18 :D
Looks nicest. Im rather scared but I need to get him out so I thought maybe a dressage rather than a jumping course lol. Also do I put a white saddle cloth on him on nothing?

Yep, white saddle cloth.

You will be fine just treat the test as an outing and a way to get him out and about and seeing things. Don’t put pressure on yourself it will transfer to your horse.

Enjoy it remember we do this for fun.:D

Oh and P18 does ride well.

I'm afraid I can't help you choose which test, as I've just done my first ever dressage test, prelim 1. But I'm sooo glad I went! Luckily I had my instructor with me which was a great help as she went to get my number and tell me where to go and to get me sugary cups of tea afterwards!!
I even managed to come 5th!!! Which I couldn't believe as our canter was dreadful! (I forgot to ride as I was so busy think about where I had to go!) But as it was our first ever outing and he's only 4 I was mainly really pleased with the fact that he behaved like an angel. It was his first time ever in an indoor arena, and he didn't spook at anything, we didn't jump when the judge beeped the horn and I stayed on!
Good luck and enjoy it!! I'm so glad I made myself go, can't wait for next time now!
