Which energizer?

I told the girl who keeps her pony down my stables that she is going to have to get a stronger energizer for her Lil B*stard Pony as it pays no attention to my little portable Shrike ones and goes through all the fencing for a laugh!

I'm sick of going down to the field and having to repair ALL the fencing EVERYDAY.

What sort of energizer should I tell he to get? I'm thinking a cattle or stud strength one? We don't have mains electric so it will need to run off a car battery. Her budget is £100 and under.

I got the CP500, butthe CP250 may be enough, depending on the amount of fencing done? I know that one is a fiver over budget but...

This is the most recent one I have bought and it's fantastic, I bought it locally though and paid about £90. Mine energises about 1500 metres with a car battery.I'm sure you know but it's really important to have a really effective earth too, my earth stake goes into the ground about a metre and I keep it damp too, makes a huge difference.

I bought this one on a recommendation to keep my rather hefty irish draught in the right place. Its very powerful and I run it off a large leisure battery. Well worth the money IMO.

LOL, yup- know all about the earth stake but it hasn't helped that we've had no rain. I had to pour two buckets of water on the stake ground this morning too.
