Hi all
Not been on for a while so please excuse if this has been done to death.

I was wondering which pair of front event boots to go for. I have Tri-zone tendon boots but don't feel there's enough leg cover if u know what I mean.
Have evented him in a sport boot for many years but these need replacing and on looking for the same thing many are advertised as a dressage type leg wrap.
I'm on a budget (aren't we all?) but my boy is 15 this year and has been the cleverest XC companion often helping me out the stooge as it were, so I think he deserves the best protection.
Thanks for reading...

Like my prolites, though I have the large and my horse is 17.1 and they don't quite cover the bulbs of his fetlock.

I have some sabres... I really like them, my boy doesn't seem to get too warm in them, no sand or rubbish gets inside them and they are a tough as anything. Person preference I guess. And you can pick them up at a very reasonable price second hand!

I really wouldn't recommend the Roma elite ones, in my experience they look, fit and wear like cheap boots sadly. You do get what you pay for :)

I use Trizone Airlite Impact Sport Boots, the ones designed for XC with the extra strike pads on the front of the canons as well as the brushing pads, and the tendon support behind. Paid a hella lot of money for them, but they are FAB, and really lightweight and breathable too, even having been through water.
