I need to change Rufty's fly mask as as his current one appears to be rubbing his eyes. He needs one with a good clearance as his eyes are prominent. I have looked at previous threads and it seems Harrison Howard are recommended. Any use one of these ,or any other suggestions?

I highly recommend the Rambo beekeeper style of fly mask. I use one on my 24yo Cushing’s mare who gets irritated eyes in summer without one. I don’t use the nose net part, it’s detachable.

She wears it for 22 hours a day and it has never rubbed.

Comfort tech Lycra fly mask , Premier Equine - looks very similar to one from HH, only with a forelock hole, in multiple colour choices.
On Section Ds, very wide set eyes, flat forehead, short ears (also thick forelocks!) - been really impressed.
Could be faffy to put on with a head or ear shy horse? but mine stick their noses straight in, and happy to have masks pulled into place. Where they stay put, not seen one even slip, and flies don’t get inside (elasticated, stretchy)
If the horse was hogged, that forelock hole might be a disadvantage, tho?

No my liveries bought a Harrison and is way to close to the eyes but correct size.

Bee keeper designs or equivisor.

I found out the hard way that the masks that will collapse can do a lot of damage to eyes.
