Which famous rider would you like to see ride your horse?

without doubt... Angelica Augustsson my mare is exactly like mic mac du tillard when jumping (only we jump a lot smaller) I love the fact she allows the horse to jump as she does....apparently after numerous different things to try and change the way the horse jumps they found just allowing her to do her own thing worked !
I need to grow some gonads to sit quiet as she does when horse has ears up my nose
 
Another vote for Andrew Nicholson - I have yet to see a quieter, calmer rider and he gets a lot from horses. Like him a lot. Not sure he'd like the horse...

Hope I can play even though my favourite mare is not mine... AP for me as well. She's a TB who hasn't been near a racing yard but you can tell it's in her blood. I'd love to know what AP thought of her :)

I'd love to see Andrew Nicholson take my horse cross country. I don't have the confidence as I know my horse can really ping and would send me flying but he'd stick and make it look like easy!
 
I think I'd say Andrew Nicholson or WFP too. Or Mary King or Nicola Wilson depending on how he reacted to a man riding him which he's not had since he came out of racing.

He needs a quiet but confidence giving rider, I'd like someone who could jump him as well as flat him. I'd like someone to be able to actually get him going on the flat and to see if he can do it so I don't lose all hope!
 
Mmmmm, interesting one this. Think my choice would be Mary King for traddie boy - she lives not a 100 miles from here, so would be easy:) And/or Lucy Wiegersma who's a really gutsy little rider and IMO hasn't received the credit she's due, plus has had her share of bad luck to boot.

But then again........ it just MIGHT be interesting to put a man up on His Lordship and see how he liked that - so here my choice might well be Andrew Nicholson and or William FP. But then again it might be an interesting experiment to put up someone like A P McCoy and see if he could get him going around a course (and tire the blighter out too).
 
I've seen Peter Scudamore ride 2 of mine, oh dear! Lets just say his champion jockey days were well behind him and he was more suited to a western saddle lol! And yet, despite all of that, both horses went beautifully and galloped properly, loose, happy, loping away properly propelling themselves from their hind quarters.

Me too, I have a nervous Nellie and think she'd need their kind of thinking too keep her calm and relaxed.
